Full Stack Originals is a Melbourne-based documentary and factual production company dedicated to creating original, human-centred non-fiction films and series.

Founded by filmmakers Josh Janssen and Bree Phillips, the company exists to develop and produce ambitious documentaries that explore big questions through deeply personal stories. Our work is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and a belief that carefully crafted storytelling can create real cultural impact.

Full Stack Originals was born out of more than two decades of experience across documentary, commercial, and long-form production. We take a full-stack approach to original filmmaking — from early development and research, through production and post, to festival strategy, impact campaigns, and release.

Our slate focuses on premium feature documentaries and limited factual series designed for theatrical, broadcast, and streaming audiences in Australia and internationally.
